My Commitment To Healthy Eating & Exercise

After recently having our second child I have come to the realization that my past pregnancy and the most recent one have had major affects on my body shape. Even after our first child I noticed some major changes. After two pregnancies and a lot of unhealthy eating habits formed, I have decided to lose weight and totally change my body and ultimately life.


This video below is from a news show I was watching that helped motivate me to lose the fat and get healthier! I suggest you watch it and hopefully it will motivate and light the fire under your backside that it lite under me.

The main thing I think that helped me start getting into shape and losing weight is that I just reached a really low point in my life. I was tired of always feeling like crap and never having anything to wear.

And when things start going bad for you in life it seem like you just take a nose dive and your like goes into a tailspin. Well, I did not want that to continue so seeing this news program that morning for whatever reason resonated with me and got me motivated to lose weight and to get back into shape. Motivated me to totally transform my life.

And the other motivating factor was seeing my two looking at my two beautiful children crawling around the floor. And also I wanted to be healthy for my husband too so that we would be around for each other in the golden years to reap the benefits of your hard labor.

So I hope this blog on my weight loss journey will get you motivated to get healthy and lose those unwanted weight. Life is too short and this is not a dress rehearsal where we get a second go at this.

So here goes… A list of my goals and what I hope to accomplish.

  • Lose 60 lbs
  • Exercise 6 days a week
  • Drink at least 6 bottles of water a day
  • Eliminate sweets
  • Eat five small meals a day
  • Maintain weight loss
  • Maintain a healthy lifestyle via healthy eating/exercising


Sleep Is Essential To Good Health

Most of us these day are stressed out and stretched to the maximum as we are busy with work, taking care of the family, raising the children, cleaning the house, paying the bills and a host of other things I have probably left out. There is absolutely nothing worse for your health and for standing in the way of reaching your weight loss goals than lack of sleep.

For peak body performance and to get your body burning calories at its peak potential you must ensure you are getting the rest and proper sleep your body needs.

Studies have shown, doing so will greatly prolong your life and will give you the best opportunity to enjoy a long, healthy and active life. So many people are consumed with their work and financial problems that they fret about them all day and night and hence affect the amount of sleep they get on a nightly basis (Getting eight hours of sleep is highly recommended)

This growing issue is better now as insomnia and affects a large number of the population. A lot of people are walking around like zombies throughout the day and have to resort to large doses of caffeine to help they perform and function during the day.

Think how much better you will be able to perform at work and you will not have a bad attitude or be snappy with family members.
